Ocean City Life-Saving Station

Built in 1886, the Ocean City Life-Saving Station is a largerly intact example of a coastal rescue station. This station was one of 45 established on the New Jersey coast and 292 in the United States before the creation of the modern Coast Guard. It is one of 15 from this time period that have survived.
