The Art of Surfing Festival is proud to present its 12^th annual festival at the historic Ocean City Music Pier on Thursday August 2^nd, Friday August 3^rd, and Saturday August 4^th this summer! The Festival is an event for the whole family. It features original art from surfing’s biggest names from local favorite, Aaron Bogushefsky “Bogy”, to our friends, Severson & Valiere, from Hawaii. The Festival hours are 5 PM to 11PM on Thursday, August 2^nd, noon to 10PM on Friday, August 3^rd and noon to 10PM on Saturday August 4^th. There will be the surf art exhibit, live music nightly, a book signing by the real “Gidget”, Kathy Zuckerman, classic boards and memorabilia and free board appraisals. The Ocean City Public Library will host Kathy Zuckerman who will be discussing her new documentary “Accidental Icon” along with the movies producer Brian Gillogly. Free showings for “Accidental Icon” are at the Library on Friday at 1:00 PM and Saturday at 12:00 PM. The Festival is free to attend and is fun for all.
