Under the direction of Michael Hartman and Marcia Dunlap, this smash hit musical brings East High to life on stage! Troy Bolton's world revolves around basketball and he is the star of the team, but everything get's turned upside down when the girl he met over winter break shows up at East High! The beautiful and brainy Gabriella is the new girl in town and raising the reputation of East High as the key member of the school's successful academic team. Together they share a secret love of singing they discovered over break after meeting and unwillingly singing karaoke! Despite their outgoing personalities, no one would ever peg Troy and Gabriella as "theater types."
