Patch wants to give the Ocean City school district $100,000. But we need your help!
Patch.com is launching a nationwide contest we call “Deck the House.” Our goal is to find the “best dressed” holiday home in our Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive $100,000. No strings attached.
Here’s how the contest works: Beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing through Dec. 26, Patch users can nominate their home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form we’ll post on the site. During that same time period all residents will be able to vote for their favorite festive home by going to:
deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/oceancity
The winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge who will select 24 finalists. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill. From Dec. 30 through Jan. 8 our users will be able to vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch.
Just think what our schools could do with $100,000.
I want Ocean City to win. And that’s where you come in. We’d like you to help get out the word among teachers, students and families that their creative ingenuity and their votes can help Ocean City schools get that prize money.
