A comedy skit, Grandpa Got Run Over By a Reindeer, will include cast members Barbara Murphy and Mark Soifer.

The Audience will join Prior and the band for a carol sing-along during the show.

The program concludes with the ensemble singing Here Comes Santa Claus as Santa arrives to pose for photos and give treats to the children. Neal Regina, Ted Prior’s manager, is producing and directing the program.

The Carolfest was started over 30 years ago by tenor, Walter Fredericks, who sang often with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra. Four Aces founder and TV personality Al Alberts brought his talent showcase to the Music Pier following Fredericks. Alberts retired to Florida where he and his wife, Stella, keep active producing and hosting a syndicated radio show.

The Carolfest is made possible by the sponsorship of Dietz and Watson in cooperation with the City. For information, contact the Public Relations Office, 609-525-9300.
