What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 6/27/18 Megan Hilty Opens 2018 Ocean City Pops season on July 2 Now in its third year, the OC-Con Comic and Memorabilia Festival joins the summer fun for 2018 after two years as an early-spring event. OC-Con opens on Thursday (June 28) and continues through Saturday (June 30) on the Ocean City Music Pier. Farmers Market and Wacky Wednesdays start on June 27

Tickets are on sale now for the season-opening performance of the Ocean City Pops featuring Megan Hilty. The show is at 7:30 p.m. July 2 at the Ocean City Music Pier.

Hilty is famous for her portrayal of Ivy Lynn in NBC’s musical drama “Smash.” A native of Seattle, Hilty moved to New York City after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University and quickly made her Broadway debut as Glinda in “Wicked.”  She went on to perform the role in both the national tour and in Los Angeles. She followed up the series with a starring role on the NBC comedy “Sean Saves the World.”

Miss New Jersey Pageant Returns to Ocean City

What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 6/13/18 Pageant Week Starts with Boardwalk Parade on Wednesday The Miss New Jersey Pageant will be held in Ocean City for the 22nd consecutive year in 2018, and the pageant includes four days of events. The winner of the pageant will be crowned on Saturday evening (June 16) and move on the represent New Jersey in the Miss America Pageant on Sept. 5 to 9 in Atlantic City. The public can get a glimpse of all 28 Miss New Jersey contestants during a free parade that starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday (June 13) and proceeds from Sixth Street to 14th Street on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
