Spring Block Party on Saturday in Ocean City

What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 5/3/17 Night in Venice Announces Grand Marshal for 2017 The early weather forecast looks sunny for Ocean City’s Spring Block Party on Saturday. That’s always good news for the premier spring event, which features more than 350 crafters, food vendors, musicians and kids’ activities stretched out over a mile of downtown Asbury Avenue between Fifth Street and 14th Street. The block party runs rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 6. More than 100 downtown stores will be open for business and have table sales out front. Pony rides for children will be available 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Ocean City Tabernacle. Dogs to Show Off Spectacular Stunts May 10 on Music Pier

What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 4/26/17 Ocean City brings a one-of-a-kind event to the Ocean City Music Pier on Wednesday, May 10, and the stars of the show are not human. Chris Perondi’s “Stunt Dog Experience” features dogs jumping, catching and dancing in an amazing display of stunts and tricks. All of the stars of the stage have been rescued from pounds and shelters. A 2008 appearance on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” helped spark the creation of a spectacle that now includes lighting effects, visual props, costumes and crowd participation. Regis Philbin will be grand marshal for the 32nd annual Doo Dah Parade, which starts at noon Saturday. What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 3/15/17 Ocean City’s late-summer Street Rod Weekend this year will feature a downtown sock hop on Friday night and a concert by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band on Saturday night. The Classic Car and Street Rod Show is scheduled for Sept. 8 and 9 in Ocean City. The 43rd annual event will feature a display of modified cars 30 years and older. The annual Corvette Show – featuring models from every year Corvettes were manufactured – moves to the same weekend this year and rolls onto the Boardwalk on Sept. 10.
