What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 4/13/22 Ocean City Celebrates Easter With Egg Hunt, Sunrise Service and Fashion Stroll   A full calendar of spring events continues on Easter Weekend in Ocean City with a free egg hunt on the Boardwalk, a sunrise service on the Ocean City Music Pier, and a piano concert and fashion stroll outside the Ocean City Music Pier.   The second of two Great Egg Hunts will take place on the boardwalk on Saturday, April 16. Participating merchants will invite children up to age 7 to visit stores with their families to collect eggs filled with treats and surprises. What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 4/6/22 Doo Dah Parade and Great Egg Hunt on Saturday in Ocean City   Philadelphia Flyers legends Jimmy and Joe Watson will be grand marshals for the 2022 Doo Dah Parade in Ocean City on Saturday (April 9).   The brothers were both part of the Broad Street Bullies team that won two Stanley Cup titles in the 1970s, and they are both members of the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame. They still live in the Philadelphia area and are a lot of fun when they’re together. Registration is now open to all boat and bayfront home owners who want to participate in this year’s celebration. The optional theme will be “Mummers: Struttin’ on the Bay,” a tribute to the colorful costumes, themed entries and distinctive string bands that define Philadelphia’s annual New Year’s Day parade and Ocean City’s Tuesday nights on the Boardwalk. What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 3/16/22 Ocean City announced Monday that Dave Mason (June 28) and Girl Named Tom (August 15) will perform concerts as part of the 28th season of the Music Pier Summer Concert Series. Tickets go on sale Thursday (March 17) with special presales on Wednesday (March 16).   Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a founding member of the group Traffic, and his solo career includes hits like the Top 10 single “We Just Disagree.” The Music Pier show is part of his nationwide World in Changes tour.   Small-town siblings Bekah, Caleb and Joshua Liechty won Season 21 of the television talent competition “The Voice” in 2021.
