WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OCEAN CITY 9/22/21 OCNJ Half Marathon and City to Shore Ride Set for the Weekend Thousands of runners and cyclists will descend on Ocean City this weekend for two great events: the OCNJ Half Marathon and the MS City to Shore Ride. Both events are fall traditions in Ocean City that draw participants from across the nation. Organizers of the OCNJ Half Marathon are expecting a strong turnout for three races on Sunday, Sept. 26, and registration is still open. In addition to the 13.1-mile Half Marathon, the event includes a 10-mile non-competitive walk/run and a 5-kilometer race. WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OCEAN CITY 9/15/21 Ocean City Airshow Flies Over Town This Weekend All eyes will turn to the sky for Ocean City’s Boardwalk Aerobatic Airshow Weekend on Sunday, Sept. 19. The event is free to attend and is one of the annual highlights of September in Ocean City. Before the airshow, the Parachute Pyrotechnic Show will return for its fourth year at 8 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 18). The show consists of several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax parachuters exiting an aircraft 6,000 feet above Ocean City’s beach and boardwalk. Brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics are then ignited as the parachuters fly in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. What's Happening in Ocean City, NJ 8/11/21 Baby Parade Rolls Down Boardwalk for 111th Time on Thursday The 111th annual Ocean City Baby Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12 on the Boardwalk. The annual tradition offers a chance for parents to show off Ocean City’s newest generation. The parade features children ages 10 and under cruising the Boardwalk in themed strollers, wagons and floats.
