
Seems like spring finally arrived with the Doo Dah Parade on Saturday. The sun was shining, the Boardwalk was full of cheerful spectators, the bands played, the costumed characters cavorted and over 500 basset hounds brought smiles to young and old alike. Here are some of the events that are coming your way between now and the big May 2nd. Block Party and beyond: (April 15) The public is invited to join the Ocean City Free Public Library at 5:30 p.m. for the rollout ribbon cutting of its new BOOKMOBILE. The event will be held on the 17th St. side of the Ocean City Community Center, 17th and Simpson Ave. It will feature speakers from the Library Board and Staff.
